Introduction to WordPress Theme Blogs

Welcome to WordPress Themes blog.

This blog is intended to help you in showing a variety of WordPress themes  available for free and for purchase. Today, about 80% of websites on the internet are WordPress themed websites. People use WordPress for 3 reasons:

  1. Flexibility on web design
  2. Easier for the average person to use
  3. Plenty of tools available to enhance a website
Several years ago, people would have had to either learn how to create websites by code or hire someone to create a website for them. Depending on what kind of website someone was looking to build. It would take very long to build by hand or it would be very expensive to have someone make a website for them.

Plus let us not forget about the other expenses of hosting a website, having an online database, creating ads to drive traffic to their website, and more.

But let us look into the 3 reasons why people use WordPress for their websites.

1. Flexibility In Web Design

As mentioned above, to build a website you would to have either learned how to code or hire someone to build a website to your vision in design.

Today, all that has changed for the better. With the latest release of WordPress version 5. Many of the themes that are available give people the flexibility to design their website without the hassle. WordPress has made what is called block based themes.

What that means for average person making a website. They can place images with text underneath easily, place a slide of images & text in one area, create a button to link to another page, and more.

Here is an example of a block based theme with 4 blocks of different items.

This makes it much easier to design websites without having to code or hire someone to make a website.

2. Easier For the Average Person To Use:

Looking at the image above with the 4 blocks. There is nothing sophisticated or complex of putting a page together using block based WordPress themes. All the tools there are straight forward and guide you on how to use them.

As you can see in the example above, you can add a block with an image, or a column, or just a paragraph to write content to your page.

Before WordPress released blocked based themes, you would have to code a lot of this yourself. It would take some time to add or design what you wanted to have on your page.

This was a turn off to a lot of people who wanted to create a website for an online business or a personal one.

3. Plenty of Tools to Enhance A Website

With WordPress there are tools known as Plugins that are available to download & install into your website to enhance your webpage and site. One example of a plugin is a slider. Sliders give your website for visitors to see what you have as stand alone images, featured blogs, or featured articles.

It is just of many plugins that you could add to your website. But, of course, it depends on your need and what you are looking to do add to your website.
